Pre-law Society hosts events every Thursday from 12:30 to 2:00pm in Room 8-155 at Baruch College. On this page, you’ll find a short description of upcoming events organized by month – so if you’re unsure about attending any of our events, you can take a look at what we’ve hosted already to get an idea of the types of events this organization conducts.
This page features some flyers that we’ve sent out via email and distributed in and around Baruch College. For example, on the right, you can see that we successfully hosted a law student panel, which featured three law school students answering questions from our host, the President of Pre-law Society, and our audience – you!
Another key feature of Pre-law Society’s events is the free food that will always be free – and it’s not just pizza and soda every week either! One week last year, we had sushi as our free food, and in the last week of last semester we had halal food catered by The Halal Guys on 53rd and 6th, which I’m sure you’ve heard of if you’re from NYC.
What other clubs have such a great variety of food, in addition to the wonderful guests and opportunities that Pre-law Society provides? Another great event we’ve had was with New York Times journalist David Segal, who talked with us about his extensive research on law schools, law companies, law students, and other related topics. If you had the chance to ask a New York Times journalist about any question you might have about law, wouldn’t you?
Take a look through our other flyers, including the ones mentioned above, in the gallery below. We hope to see you soon!
